Meet the Executive Board!
Our dedicated executive team utilizes their unique skills and passion to move Gender ShEquality forward. We’re always pushing ourselves to stay ahead of the curve and striving to perfect our work. Meet our incredible leaders below!
Ananya Pinnamaneni
Founder & Executive Director
Ananya is a senior from California. She considered herself a feminist from a young age, but she noticed that many people don't support feminism because of misconceptions they have about it. Ananya wrote and published her first book, Feminism 101: A Guide to Gender Equality, and started this organization to help people understand what feminism really is and how they can help achieve gender equality.

While she's not busy being a feminist, you can find Ananya practicing archery or competing in a debate tournament.
Eliana Horn
Director of Operations
Eliana Horn is a junior at Dougherty Valley High School. She has a passion for feminism and wants to promote equality amongst all, especially for minorities. She likes to advocate for positive change and correct negative misconceptions about stereotypes. As a Co-Director of Operations, Eliana hopes to inspire the younger generation and advocate for change in the current environment. In her free time, she likes to play piano, swim, and collect plants.
Shreya Jagannathan
Director of Operations
Shreya is a senior from California. She’s been working with different non-profits to make small changes in societal issues. Gender equality wasn’t something that caught her eye until recently because the older she got the more she saw the differences between the opportunities men are given then the ones women are given, or the way men are treated versus the way women are treated. She joined Gender ShEquality because she wanted to advocate for gender equality. She wants to change how deeply misogyny is embedded within our society. She wants to help change the way feminism is perceived as a negative thing.

When she’s not doing volunteer work, she’s a dancer, tutor and she’s working on releasing her first poetry book.
Rubina Shaik
Blog Director
Rubina is a senior from Delaware. She joined Gender ShEquality because she saw it as a great opportunity to talk about topics related to feminism and advocate for equality. As Blog Director, Rubina hopes to play a role in educating people and persuading others to advocate for women’s rights and equality.
Outside of Gender ShEquality, she spends her time watching TV and involving herself in STEM-related activities.
Satvik Bandi
Curriculum Director
Satvik is a junior from California. He is involved with the fight in numerous social and human rights issues including special education and gender equality. As Curriculum Director of Gender ShEquality, he hopes to help educate the next generation on the feminist movement and help create a brighter future for women across the globe.

Outside of Gender ShEquality, Satvik is part of multiple special education organizations that help raise awareness and funds for better opportunities for special needs students.
Ankita Biswas
Mentor Director
Ankita is a senior from California. She has always known she wanted to make an impact on the younger generation about various social issues around the world, Gender ShEquality giving her the perfect platform to do so. Through this organization, she hopes to bring light to the reality and truths of Feminism, and stray away from the misconceptions many people believe to be true.
When Ankita is not educating her self with the worlds social issues, you can find her listening to music, reading a book or dancing away.
